The Power of Your Smile

In "How to Win Friends and Influence People," Dale Carnegie wrote that one of his 6 musts is to smile. But how much do you pay attention to your smile? Is your smile warm, cold, sincere, short or do you hold your smile too long? Are the wheels turning in your heard, have you gone to look in a mirror to examine your smile?

So what is it about smiles that make them so important? Studies have shown that smiles that take longer to form, are perceived to be more credible. A warm smile is an asset to be had but when it is delivered at the opportune time, it has more impact. 

Try delaying when you deliver your smile, you may find yourself to be perceived as more sincere and genuine.
