But charging head first isn't always the best way to go. We need mini goals to take us up the mountain. Wouldn't it be nice if there were switchbacks with water aid stations on our climb to the top? Why do we always seem to take the path with the most resistance and refuse all help on our journey?
Set a plan of strategy and allow yourself the time to achieve your end goal. Create mini goals for yourself so you can accomplish them. Everyone can make their bed in the morning. When you walk out your door, you can feel good that you accomplished one thing today.
Want to get back in to shape? Don't expect your body to preform like it did 10 years ago. If it has been a while, start with small goals. But dedicate yourself to push yourself to increase your goals each week. It is important to feel challenge, otherwise the pay off isn't as rewarding.
